The blue ink in the ballpoint, originally meant to be indelible, vanishes increasingly when aggressed by the lighting of exhibitions or mere daylight. Due to photochemical reactions (produced by ultra violet rays), coloured pigments are transformed into colourless traces, and consequently the medium inexorably vanishes. This foretold disappearance has a strong conceptual and poetical charge; it might well mean in filigree the 'vanity' or doom (or fatal destiny) of the artwork itself.

L'encre du stylo bille bleue, conçue pourtant pour durer, s'efface progressivement quand elle est agressée par la lumière des expositions ou la lumière du jour. Par la réaction photochimique qui transforme les pigments colorés en produits incolores sous l'action des ultraviolets, l'effacement du medium est inexorable. Ce projet de disparition, à forte charge conceptuelle et poétique, pourrait être une vanité même de l'existence de l'œuvre d'art.
